The user isn’t supposed to be able to change it. In the hundreds of pages I read today on this topic, I remember something about giving the Application rights to change the registry When the system policy is applied, the registry setting that gets changed is: Welcome to Tech Support Guy! Local Group Policy object. I think that Windows XP will pick up on that and use it for the my documents folder for the user.
